How do I get help from Loraine?

What next?

Once you have decided that you would like Loraine to help you, an appointment can be arranged at a time to suit you. This will take place at Loraine’s relaxing and comfortable therapy room at her home in Leigh.

First appointment

Your first session will be to discuss in detail, the issues that you would like help with. Loraine will take a detailed history and chat with you about the range of therapies that you can choose from.

Sometimes Loraine may suggest a combination of therapies. Such as some stress management work alongside some hypnotherapy to aid relaxation, or some work on deep breathing techniques together with some NLP techniques to improve confidence and combat anxieties.

If you wish, this first session can include a period of guided relaxation in which you can sample the feeling of deep and peaceful hypnosis.

Second and subsequent appointments

Each appointment lasts for around an hour or a little longer depending on what therapy is being used at the time. Each session will include a reflection on how the time since the last appointment has gone for you, how much progress has been made and will consider how the next steps will go.

 

The idea is to use as few sessions as possible in order to achieve your positive outcome. Some issues may take a little longer to work through whilst some resolutions may be achieved in a short space of time.
